Two businesses. One standard.
Vishal Global Exports is a proprietorship merchant exporter established in Kolkata in 2026 by Vishal Biswas. We source and supply Indian agricultural commodities — non-basmati and basmati rice, makhana, Malda mangoes, West Bengal potatoes — and selected Bengal handicrafts for international buyers, with spices offered against confirmed orders. We are a merchant exporter, not a manufacturer: our work is sourcing, specification alignment, quality and inspection coordination, packaging, documentation, and logistics.
Ganapati is our family's grocery and household provisions business — founded in 1995 by Arun Biswas, Vishal's father, and still running today with more than 2,500 active customers, around 150 of whom buy their monthly household requirements from us at the start of every month, year after year. That is 30+ years of buying, grading, pricing, and standing behind food products in one of India's most demanding retail and wholesale markets.
The two are separate businesses, and we will always say so. Ganapati's three decades are family trading heritage — not international export history, and we claim no shipments, buyers, or export experience we do not have. What the heritage gives Vishal Global Exports is real: product understanding, sourcing awareness, supplier relationships, customer discipline, and the long-term view of a family whose name has been on a shopfront since 1995.
