I grew up inside Ganapati, my family's grocery and provisions business in Kolkata — founded by my father, Arun Biswas, in 1995. For three decades the trade there has been food: buying it, grading it, storing it correctly and arguing over quality until it was right. I learned the unglamorous parts of this work early — that a shipment is only ever as good as the sourcing behind it, that reputation is built one honest transaction at a time, and that a buyer remembers how you handled the difficult order long after they have forgotten the easy one.

That grounding in physical commodity trade is the foundation of how Vishal Global Exports sources today. I know what good rice looks and smells like before it is milled, how makhana grades differ in the hand, and what separates produce that travels well from produce that does not. When a buyer sends a specification, I read it as someone who has spent years on the buying side of a counter — not as a broker forwarding an email.

Vishal Global Exports is a merchant exporter. We do not own mills or farms, and we never claim to. Instead we source against your written requirement through established mill, farmer and trade networks across West Bengal and India, and we take direct accountability for specification, inspection, documentation and logistics — from the confirmed order until the container is loaded and cleared. What we supply — rice, makhana, seasonal produce and Bengal handicrafts — is bought to the grade on your contract, checked before it ships, and documented so it clears customs without surprises.

I built the export house on full regulatory compliance before shipping a single container — IEC, APEDA, FSSAI, GST with LUT, AD Code and Udyam registration — because a buyer overseas who has never met me deserves credentials they can verify on government portals, not assurances they simply have to believe. Everything we state about the company is meant to be checkable before any money changes hands.
